Ella is a senior at Pepperdine University majoring in business on a pre-law track. She is a 2022 graduate of Eastside High School where she played Varsity Soccer and served as Student Government President. Ella swam for Foxcroft from the age of 3 through 18. Swimming in the summer was always a great outlet to cross train and build community in the neighborhood. Ella made Championships or Classics each year since she was 7, with her favorite stroke being breast stroke.
She has been coaching for Foxcroft for 6 years and is excited to be returning to the head coach postition again!
Sophie just finished her sophomore year at Coastal Carolina University, where she is working towards a BFA in Graphic Design. She was excited to compete in the College Club Swimming Nationals Meet this year in Mesa, Arizona, where she swam 200 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay. A 2024 Eastside graduate, Sophie was a proud member of the Varsity Swim Team, including earning two AAAA State Championships rings. She began swimming at Foxcroft when she was ten years old, and it sparked her love of the sport and community.
Reynolds is a senior at Eastside high school where he swims on a 10 year running state championship swim team. He also swims on a club swim team, YSSC. He has been a part of the Foxcroft swim team since he was 9 and his favorite stroke is IM. This is his fourth year coaching Foxcroft and he is very excited to make many funny and lasting memories with the swim team and is looking forward to fun fridays, meets, and Divisionals week the most.
Meredith Anne (pictured left) finished her sophomore year at Clemson University. She has been swimming for Foxcroft since she was 5 years old. Her favorite stroke is breast stroke and she loves fun friday, gladiator fights and shaving cream fights. She also plays varsity lacrosse at Eastside and has been playing since she was in 7th grade. She is looking forward to being “Coach MA” rather than “Coach Sam’s sister.” She loves Foxcroft Swim Team because she has made lifelong friends through the team. MA is very exited for another great season and can’t wait to meet all the new swimmers this year.
Emerson just finished her sophomore year at Samford University where she is in the BFA in Musical Theatre program. After lifeguarding at Foxcroft last year, she is thrilled to be returning to the ‘Croft as a coach. Emerson began swimming at Foxcroft when she was 3 years old and swam for FOX for 16 seasons. Emerson also swam year-round for YSSC and was a four-year letterman for the Eastside High School swim team, winning the state championships each year while there. On the back of her senior year Classics shirt, she put: Forever a Fox- and she means it!
