FoxSwim Announcements
This is the most important information that was covered at the Parent Meeting on Monday. Please read carefully because some things are time sensitive:
Volunteer Positions:
- We need ALL PARENTS to take the online certification test ASAP for at least Timer, Runner, Records. Use this link to take a short online test (this must be taken every year):

- Those parents that are doing Officials training, the last two days that training is offered are this Thursday and Saturday. You must attend and sign in to a training session. Here is a link with the info about Officials training:
Using Swimtopia website to sign up for meets:
***New this year, so all parents need to figure out how this works ahead of time so that we will be prepared for our first meet.
- We have created a practice meet on Swimtopia and we need EVERYONE to log in to their Swimtopia account and go through the motions to sign up as a volunteer and register your swimmers for this meet - please complete this by Friday, May 18th.

- Here are the steps to sign up for the practice meet:
On the Meets & Events tab https://foxcroft.swimtopia.com/calendar-and-meets click on the Meet & RSVP Calendar. Then scroll down to the Parent Meeting Practice Swim Meet and click on the green box that says Job Signup. You will see parent names listed and click on Sign Up for Jobs under each parent. There may be a delay between when you take the appropriate volunteer online test and when you are marked as certified on our team website because our volunteer coordinator has to manually add you after you take the online test. (For actual swim meets, if you do not choose a volunteer job, our volunteer coordinator will choose one for you). Then go back and click on the green box that says Meet Entry. Click edit to select the events that you want for your swimmers.
- Please download the Swimtopia app on your phones. There are some technical difficulties with the app at this point though, so most of us are finding it easier to navigate and sign up for things on the Swimtopia website on your computer instead of the app.
Sign up for Remind texting:
You need to sign up any phone number that you want to receive texts about swim team. This is very important for times like weather notifications that affect practice. Sign-up options:
1) Text @foxswims to 81010 2) from Remind app, join group @foxswims 3) register online at https://www.remind.com/join/foxswims (You will receive several notifications when you first register; this will not happen every time we send out a text).

Intent to Swim Form:
