Swimmer Arrival Time: 4:30pm, Warm Up Time: 4:45pm, Start Time: 5:30pm

Fun Friday

There will be no practice on Friday.

Join us for a special evening Fun Friday – a Dive-In Movie!

We will be showing Star Wars on the big screen at the pool. The movie will start at 7:45 PM and all swimmers should be picked up by 10 PM. Ribbons will be handed out.

Our 10 AM Fun Fridays will start next week.

Meet Reminders

Please remind your swimmers how important it is to stay in the tent so that our volunteers can locate them for their events. Avoid sitting elsewhere and especially with coaches. Also, please have them keep their area clean and their items in their bags. We need everyone to throw their trash away.

Weather Delays

The meet will proceed in the rain, but will be postponed for thunder or lightning. Swimmers may be sent to cars to wait out a storm. All communication regarding delays will be through the Remind group text. We have been sending texts with information already. If you are not receiving them, please make sure to sign-up. Text the phrase @foxswims to the number 81010.

Event Numbers

It will help the tent parents out if you go ahead and write your swimmers’ event numbers on their arms before arriving at the meet. You can find their events in the Swimtopia App. Under Events, click on Swim Meet Away vs. Poinsettia, and you will see a list of all your swimmers’ events listed in event number order.

Cannot Make a Meet?

If your swimmer will not be participating in a meet, please go ahead and RSVP “not attending” at https://foxcroft.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

If you can not volunteer at a meet, but your child(ren) are swimming, please send an e-mail to Dorothy Sturman at [email protected]. Please also check the “Unavailable to Work” boxes on the Job sign-up of that meet.

Below is additional meet information from Poinsettia:

We are located at 404 Poinsettia Dr.  We do not provide tents for your area so you might want to bring a few.  You will be in front of the pool outside the gate. To the left, as you are looking at the pool. We sprayed for mosquitos, but it would be wise to bring bug repellent!

Parking, We have very few parking spaces in our paved lot next to the pool,
We also have a back parking lot (grass) which is accessed off of N. Almond Dr. If you
leave the pool up Poinsettia Drive you turn left on Fernwood and left on N. Almond and it is the 2nd turn in on the left, down a gravel drive into a grassy lot, you walk across the bridge to the pool. As soon as the paved parking lot is full we will rope it off since the kids have to run back and forth across it.
We will have "NO PARKING" signs up throughout the N'hood to keep people from parking on just one side of the street. Simpsonville Police will come and ticket if cars are parked on both sides of the street. No Parking in front of the pool, it is Dropoff/Pick up only

We will have concessions on deck with Homemade Pizza, Pork Sandwiches, hot dogs, and much more, so come hungry! We will sell Heat sheets at Concessions.
