Please read this entire email and see the attachments. There are several important deadlines coming up.
This Week’s Meet
June 14th – Meet at Thornblade (1219 Thornblade Blvd is the address for the house across from the pool)
Swimmer Arrival Time:4:30pm, Warm Up Time:4:45pm, Start Time:5:30pm
First half workers, please arrive no later than 5:15 PM. Find Ashley Mozingo to check in.
Parking and additional information from Thornblade is listed below.
We are planning to go somewhere after the meet - location TBD.
***Please remind your kids to not take food or money from other kids' bags, chairs, or area. We had this happen a few times at the last meet.***
Fun Friday: 10am-11am (no practice)
We will be playing Gladiator (a game played in the pool). Donuts and juice will be served and ribbons will be handed out.
T-shirt Orders Due by June 17th! We will soon be placing Foxwear orders for end-of-year competitive team t-shirts and Divisionals gifts for those swimmers attending divisionals. Please review the attached document with swimmers' t-shirt sizes collected at registration. If your child has changed sizes, please let us know. SHHHH..... the SURPRISE Divisionals gift is a hoodie sweatshirt. If your child wears a different size hoodie than t-shirt, please also let us know what size t-shirt and what size hoodie you would like. If any sizes are not available, we will order the next size up. For instance, if Adult XS is not available, we will order an Adult Small. Please send responses to Kelley ([email protected]) in an e-mail (not text) by Sunday, June 17.
Intent to Swim for Divisionals and C&C is Due by June 17th!
The Intent Form is online this year. We need ALL FAMILIES to complete if attending or not attending Divisionals (July 6&7). We also need to know if your swimmers are available for Championships and Classics (July 14&15). You must swim in 2 dual meets to swim in Divisionals. You must swim in Divisionals to be eligible for C&C. The top 40 swimmers from all SAIL teams are chosen from each event to attend C&C. You must attend C&C if you have said you are available and you are chosen - there is a fine for unexcused scratches. You can find the intent form under the Meet & RSVP tab.

A few more important items:
- We still need volunteers for Tuesday Treats on June 19 and June 26. Please contact Erin Chilton at [email protected] if you can fill one of these spots.
- Attached is the waiver to participate in bubbleball soccer, which will be our Fun Friday activity on June 22nd. If your child will be attending please sign the form and return to Erin Chilton’s mailbox (318 Hillsborough Drive) before the 22nd.
- Mark your calendars: June 19th 5:30-7:30 Chick-fil-A on Pelham Rd is hosting a Spirit Night for the Foxcroft Swim Team!
Meet Reminders
- Please write your swimmers' event numbers on their arm before dropping them off. This will really help the tent parents. You can find their event numbers on the Swimtopia app.
- Please remind your swimmers how important it is to stay in the tent so that our volunteers can locate them for their events. Avoid sitting elsewhere and especially with coaches. Also, please have them keep their area clean and their items in their bags. We need everyone to throw their trash away.
- Weather Delays: The meet will proceed in the rain, but will be postponed for thunder or lightning. Swimmers may be sent to cars to wait out a storm. All communication regarding delays will be through the Remind group text. We have been sending texts with information already. If you are not receiving them, please make sure to sign-up. Text the phrase @foxswims to the number 81010.

Parking
Primary parking for the swim meet will be along the street on Thornblade Blvd and adjacent roads. Secondary parking will be the main Thornblade Clubhouse parking lot. Please respect the “No Parking” signs in the Thornblade neighborhood.
