June 23rd

Great Home Meet on Thursday! We had 113 lifetime best times this week! There were 7 new records set for our pool!! Lauren Adams (3), Jack Mezzogori (3) and Carson Mozingo (1) - details listed at the end of this email.

As you choose their events, remember that this meet is the last opportunity for your swimmers to try to complete Iron Man. We give the Iron Man award to all swimmers who attempt all six individual events over the course of the season. Remember to mark your swimmers unavailable if you aren't attending the meet and let Dorothy know why you are unable to volunteer.

These swimmers were recognized for their hard work and good attitudes. Meet the coaches in the pool parking lot at 3 PM on Wednesday. The coaches will take them to get TCBY, and bring them back for practice.

Practice Schedule for next week

Mon-Tues 2x/day: 9am (10&U) & 10am (11&U) and 4pm (10&U) & 5pm (11&U)

We still need a volunteer for Tuesday Treats this week! Please contact Erin Chilton a.s.a.p. at [email protected] if you can bring treats.

Wednesday: Sunrise Practice (for all ages) at 6:30am (time change). Practice will be followed by going out for breakfast to Chick-fil-A, so swimmers need to bring money and we will be recruiting parent drivers. More details to come! We will not have 9am/10am practice on Wednesday but we will still have 4pm/5pm practice that afternoon like usual.

Thurs: Mock meets at 9am (10&U) & 10am (11&U), Swim Meet at Foxcroft

***Home Meet: We will need people to help set up at 2pm. Parents of 8&U swimmers need to stay with their kids after the warm-up because tent parents do not check in until 5:15. We will have another party after the meet. More details to come!

Fun Friday: 10am-12pm (Note the longer time this week!) We will have a large Inflatable Water Slide & a shaving cream fight! Please have your kids bring a can of shaving cream (foam, not gel - available at Dollar Tree or Walmart) and wear bathing suits and goggles. The kids will be hosed off after the shaving cream fight before playing in the pool.

Divisionals Heat Sheet Ads

Heat Sheets will be available for sale at the 7/6-7 Divisional Meet. There is ad space available for purchase, should you like to recognize your swimmer(s). Complete the attached form and e-mail to Emelyn Shabel at [email protected] by Saturday June 30^th. Please note that you can now wish your swimmer(s) good luck with our one line "Shout Out" for only $2.

Checks, payable to Foxcroft Swim Team, can be delivered in person to Emelyn or to the Shabel house: 2 Hunting Hollow Rd.

Divisionals Heat Sheet Cover Contest

Any swimmer is allowed to submit a design and they are due by July 2. They can be delivered to Emelyn Shabel's mailbox at 2 Hunting Hollow Rd. Designs must be on 8 1/2x11 paper and the drawing must be by hand, no graphics or typing and must be black and white. If you mention one team, must mention all 5 teams and they are: Pelham Falls Piranhas, Poinsettia Pirates, Foxcroft Fox, Forrester Woods Waverunners, Thornblade Blades. Cash prize is $25 and there will be two winners (10&U and 11&U).
