Hello FOX Swim Team Families!

Please disregard this email if you only have kids on the Fish Team.

We will have our annual luminary packing party at the Smiths' house (108 Hunting Hollow Rd) on November 18th at 4pm.  We need as many volunteers as possible to come help prepare the luminaries, even if you are unable to also help sell them.  If your family would like to sell luminaries, please email Tarin Lewis at [email protected] and we will give you a list of addresses to sell between November 19th and December 10th.  Our luminary lighting event is December 16th at 6pm (more details to come).

For new families to the swim team that are not familiar with luminary sales, here is an explanation:  It has become a tradition for the swim team to sell luminary packets to Foxcroft residents as our annual fundraiser.  The packets contain white paper bags, sand, tea candles and directions to make 10 luminaries.  We will also offer an additional service to set up and take down luminaries for those residents who want to participate but are unable to manage set up and clean up.  It is a beautiful holiday sight when they are all lit.  There will be a hot chocolate gathering before residents drive around to look at the lighted luminaries on December 16th at 6pm.

We are also looking for a teen volunteer to pre-count the bags into packets of 10 and put rubber bands on them - before the packing party.  Last year these were counted for Beta hours.  Sharon already has the bags at her house so please let us know if you can volunteer to pre-count!
