We had a great first practice and here is the info shared at the parent meeting:

• FOX Friends: We are starting a new program this year that pairs younger swimmers with a buddy who is in the 12 and up age group. The idea behind this is that the FOX Friends can cheer for each other at the meets and develop encouraging relationships. We hope this will make our team an even more welcoming and supportive place for our swimmers! The FOX Friends list is posted at the pool.

• Volunteering: We have 36 families represented on our swim team this year. If you know of any new families moving into Foxcroft, please invite them to join us! Since we are a small team, volunteering is very important and Ashley Mozingo will be organizing the volunteer roles for us for each meet. Last year we signed up on Swimtopia, but this year Ashley will assign the roles and notify us at the beginning of the week of that meet (If our assignment doesn't work for some reason, we can contact Ashley).

• Remind Texting App: Make sure you are signed up to receive texts from the Remind app. If you are already signed up from last year, you don't need to sign up again.

• Ear Drops: Remember to use ear drops for your swimmers to prevent swimmer's ear.

• Foxwear: We are looking into a way to offer other types of Foxwear through First Team Sports - stay tuned!

• Swimtopia Mobile Pro App:  Swimtopia sent out an email about a new app available for purchase (not required for everyone - just something cool to be aware of if you are interested) that will allow you to see scores live during the meets, get alerts of when your swimmer's event is coming up, etc. See this link for more info: https://www.swimtopia.com/push-notifications-and-pro/

• Board Positions: Please be thinking about joining our swim team board for next summer! Now is a great time to ask around about what position you may be interested in and shadow the current board member, etc. Here is the current board:
