Friday Morning at 10am:

There will be a 10&Under Mock Meet at the pool (11&up can come get some extra warm-up if they want).

Divisionals Schedule:

July 12: (11&up only) Meet starts at 5:30 p.m. at WG Pool

- Swimmers arrive at 3:10 p.m.

- Warm-up 3:25 p.m.

- Officials report time between 4:30-4:45 p.m.

- Other Volunteers please check in with Ashley no later than 5pm

- We will try to finish the 11&Up meet on Friday night even if there are weather delays. If we can’t finish the meet before midnight, we will complete the 11&Up meet after the 10&U meet finishes on Saturday.

July 13: (10&under only) Meet starts at 8:30 a.m. at WG Pool

- Swimmers arrive at 7:30 a.m.

- Warm-up 7:45 a.m.

- Officials report time between 7:30-7:45 a.m.

- Other Volunteers please check in with Ashley no later than 8am

- For swimmer safety, Saturday's meet will have short breaks between each stroke. This will give swimmers more time to return to the tent and Clerk of Course between events. Tent parents, please notice this will change the pace of the meet!

Food Drive

Our division will be participating in a food drive for Harvest Hope Food Bank. All swimmers are asked to bring at least one non-perishable food item to Divisionals meet.

Info about C&C and Shirt Orders:

For anyone who is new to Championships & Classics, these meets are for the top swimmers in SAIL (all divisions), based on times recorded at Divisionals. Classics represents the top 16 swimmers in every event, and Championships represents swimmers ranked 17 – 40. …Don’t let your swimmers be disheartened if they don’t make it! With over 4,000 swimmers in SAIL, it is very difficult to qualify for these meets, and often takes years of practice!

If your swimmer does make it, the meets will be held Saturday July 20^th (Championships) and Sunday July 21 (Classics).

Qualifying swimmers can order special t-shirts with a custom saying on the back. It can be as simple as your last name, can be something clever/funny, can be a swimming pun – anything you want! A few examples from an old list:

• Boys 9-10 Relay: STRENGTH IN NUMBERS

The shirts have to be ordered Sunday night July 14 (during Bloody Sundae event). They are $20 + customization fee.

This year they are taking orders online (we’ll have computers available at the Clubhouse) – and it requires credit or debit card payment (no checks, no cash).

If you think you might have a swimmer in one of the C&C meets (or just want to dream a little), think about what you’d like on the back of the shirt and come prepared with a card for payment.
