Upcoming Dates:

• Adults only swim team party - Postponed until further notice.
• April 5, 3:30-5:00 (new families 3:00), Clubhouse - Registration, swim suit fittings, coach meet and greet. Registration also opens online at foxcroft.swimtopia.com. New families - Please bring copies of your birth certificates. Returning Families - Please make sure you Log-In before registering so that your data pre-populates. Swim suits can also be ordered directly by visiting Alpine Ski Center. We will still open on-line registration April 5 even if we have to cancel the in-person event.

Corrected - We originally announced that Divisionals would be held on one day for all ages. This has been changed by Silver Leaf’s request. The new dates are:

• 11+ will be Friday July 10, starting at 5 p.m. (warm up times TBD)
• 10 & under will be Saturday July 11, starting at 9:30 a.m. (warm up times TBD)

Meet Schedule - We have two home meets this year. June 18 and June 30. Please try to make sure you are in town for these meets. They are extra fun for swimmers, the only chance to break records, and we need as many volunteers as possible.

1. June 4: FOX vs. Poinsettia (out of division meet) – AWAY
2. June 11: FOX vs. Pelham Falls – AWAY
3. June18: FOX vs. Pebble Creek/Half Mile – HOME
4. June 25: FOX vs. McCarter – AWAY
5. June 30: FOX vs. Silver Leaf – HOME (Tuesday night!)

SAIL Officials Training - A description of all swim meet volunteer positions and SAIL training dates can be found on the volunteers tab of our website at https://foxcroft.swimtopia.com/volunteers. The dates are also listed at the bottom of this e-mail. We ask that all parents certify as timer, ribbons/records, and runner. These positions do not require any in-person training, only reading some information and taking an on-line test. Certification tests are located at https://sail.swimtopia.com/training. If you have any questions regarding volunteering or are interested in trying a new position that requires SAIL training, please contact Ashley Mozingo at at [email protected].

Calendar - We have a new google calendar posted on our website. All practice times have been posted. We will update this calendar as adjustments to the schedule are made. You can subscribe to the calendar by following the directions on the website here.

By Laws - The Swim Team Board is making an adjustment to our ByLaws in order to properly align with the way we give end of season awards. In order to ratify the changes, we will take a vote of current Swim Team members at registration. If you have any questions, please contact Susan Tomforde at [email protected].

2020 SAIL Officials Training Schedule:

All training classes will be in the lower level of the First Baptist Greenville Athletic Building. These are the ONLY training dates for the 2020 season. Training is mandatory and teams are required to have trained officials. Most meet volunteer positions do not require in-person training, but it is required for Stroke & Turn, Starter, Referee, and Clerk of Course (see notes below for exceptions).

Notes:

• There are two ways to become a certified official
  • You must attend the training and pass the SAIL online test OR
  • Send current USA swimming certifications to [email protected] (be sure to specify Foxcroft) and pass the SAIL online test.
• All Starters must take both Stroke & Turn and Starter classes.
• All Referees must take S&T, Starter, and Referee classes.
• Clerk of Course is required for anyone with less than 2 years of experience.
• Timers, Records, Ribbons and Runners training information is on the testing page and every team needs to meet the required number of certified officials.
• No computer operator training this year
