1st Meet Success

Thank you Everyone! From a veteran swim team family, we received, “BEST. SWIM. MEET. EVER.” We could not have asked for things to run any smoother. A big thank you to all our volunteers.

Meet Results: We finished the meet with 371 points vs Poinsettia’s 247. This was our out-of dIvision meet, and Poinsettia is a Division higher than us! The swimmers had 140 best times, and broke 6 pool records. Coach Kyle’s remaining record was broken, but the smile on his face was priceless.

Sign up now for the June 18th Meet: The sooner you sign up the better! Remember to mark your swimmers unavailable if you aren't attending the meet.

Congratulations to this week’s Swimmers of the Week:

10&Under Girl: Lily Tomforde, 10&Under Boy: Charlie McNicholas

11&Up Girl: Ava Watson, 11&Up Boy: Anderson Boetsch

These swimmers were recognized for their hard work and good attitudes. Unfortunately, we are unable to go to TCBY this year to celebrate.

Practice Schedule for next week: Same as this week. Remember, you can view/subscribe to the full calendar on our website here.

Items Needed for Next Weeks’ Fun Friday: We will be doing Tie-Dye next Friday. Your child will need to bring the item to be tie-dyed with them. It can be a T-shirt, shorts, etc. Feel free to get creative!

Fox Friends: The list of Big/Little Foxes is attached. Please let us know if anyone was left off, and encourage your swimmer to start thinking of ways to connect with their friend next week!

Photos from the Meet: Our team photographer, Caroline Robertson, uploads our photos from each meet to our private Facebook page (Foxcroft Swim Team). Request access if you are not already a member.

Swimmers Times: You can view your swimmers’ times from last night on the Swimtopia app under “Events”. Foxcroft has a 25 yard pool, but most teams in SAIL have a 25 meter pool. The result times showing in the app have been converted to meters since Poinsettia was technically the home team, so these times will not match what the timers told the swimmers. If the app says your child added a lot of time from last year, this is probably not true; our seed times were entered as yard times. If you click on your swimmer’s name under “Members” and choose “Swim History”, you should be able to view all of your child’s times converted into the same standard and see what date s/he swam their personal best. The Mobile Pro App was updating live as both teams entered times last night. It costs $2/mo for the extra features, and you can cancel at the end of the season.

New Records: Foxcroft records can only be broken in our pool. The swimmers broke 6 records last night during the first meet of the season!
