Training classes for officials and Information for other meet volunteers

Reminder! There is a parent meeting tomorrow night at 5:15 PM in the shelter.

Please see the following message from our volunteer coordinator, Kelly Keever. Kelly will also talk about volunteers at the parent meeting tomorrow. She can be reached at [email protected] or 864-354-7561.

All parents will be assigned a location to volunteer for half of each meet.  Some SAIL teams allow parents to choose their positions through Swimtopia, but we prefer to assign positions.

If there is anyone I am missing or would like to volunteer for one of these certified/official positions please let me know.

ALL OTHER PARENTS will need to read about the RUNNER and TIMER positions here https://sail.swimtopia.com/education-materials and then take the online certification test here https://sail.swimtopia.com/training to be certified for those volunteer positions during the meets, please. Note: There are no blue cards or Records volunteers again this year.

The other volunteer positions we have at each meet are concessions (home meets), ribbons and tent parents. These positions do not require training or tests.

I hope this makes sense. I know it is a lot of information. I am new in this role and have a lot to learn as well. Thanks for your flexibility and willingness to help make this a safe and fun season for our team!
