Happy Fall Swim Team Families! Our annual Luminary Sale is getting ready to kick off.

For many years, the Foxcroft Swim Team had several fundraisers requiring family participation. Thanks to our generous sponsors and our family booster fee, we now only have one main fundraiser - Luminaries!

Every year, we choose a night in December to light our streets with candles. It is a beautiful way to celebrate the holidays with our neighbors. It does require effort for the Swim Team to pack and sell the luminaries, but it is something the neighborhood looks forward to each year and it is an easy sell at most houses. We have added ways to help this year. If every swim team family signs up for one or two jobs, the Luminary Sale will run smoothly and be a success.

Mark your calendars:

• Luminary Packing - Sunday, November 14, 2-3:30 PM, Clubhouse/Parking Lot
• Luminary purchase/pick-up: 3 -5 PM (We plan to promote this sale, keep it socially distanced, and are hoping more families will choose this option, reducing our door-to-door sales)
• Luminary Lighting - Sunday, December 12 (rain date Dec 19)

We need help with the following:

• Promoting the packing day sale to our neighbors.
• Packing the luminaries, providing snacks, and selling to neighbors on November 14.
• Selling luminaries directly to houses that did not come on November 14.
• Set-up, light, and clean-up luminaries on Dec. 12 (19) for families who purchase this add-on option.

What should I do next?

Go to the event in Swimtopia ASAP, and sign up to help. The event can be accessed from the home page (top right) or the Meets and RSVP calendar (scroll to the end). Click on job sign-up. The program only lets parents sign up for “jobs” but we are expecting swimmer participation. Please sign up for any jobs under only one parent per household. Hover over the “i” for an explanation of each job.
