We are excited to share some details about the upcoming season. Please save/flag/print this email for your reference, as it has lots of important information all in one place! Our team emails also save to our website under About >> News if you ever need to find one again.

White Division: Foxcroft has moved up to White, and will compete against McCarter, Orchard Farms, PMP, and Forrester Woods. Links to the White division teams (including location) can be found on our website under Division.

Coaches: Coach Kyle, Sam, and Ella are returning this season. Ella will be coaching 10&Unders in addition to Fish this summer. Wade Stansberry has also joined our coaching staff as Junior Coach. Learn more about our coaches on our website.

Registration: Registration will open March 27 at https://foxcroft.swimtopia.com. Please register as soon as possible. You must register your swimmer by May 1 in order for them to receive a shirt.

Registration Fees: 1st Swimmer - $110, 2nd Swimmer - $100, 3rd Swimmer - $90, 4th+ Swimmer - $80. A $50 Family Booster Fee is applied to the first swimmer. If a family has no competitive team swimmers (only Fish), the booster fee is waived.

Parent Meeting and New Family Q&A: Join us Sunday, April 3 at 3:00 in the pool shelter for a parent meeting (this will replace the meeting we normally have on the first day of practice). New families are invited to stay and meet the coaches and ask questions about the team. Coaches and board members will be available until 5 PM. This is also a great time to bring a copy of birth certificates for any new swimmer (or swimmer moving up to “big” team). Lastly, we will have samples of Foxwear items that are available for purchase.

Swimsuits: We are using the same suit as last year. Swimmers needing a new suit may purchase one online. We also have a new cap design this year. Order suits and caps online at www.augustaswim.com. All orders must be placed by April 24.

We will have sample suits that you can borrow and try on at your convenience. They should be available by March 27, and will be located on Kathryn Mean’s back porch (7 Chippendale Court) with a sign-out sheet. If you choose to “check out” a suit please return it quickly as other swimmers may need to try on a suit the same day. We will send out a Remind Text when the samples are in. If you are not on our text list, please sign up by texting @foxswims to 81010.

Practices: The first day of practice will be May 9. Practices will be M-F in the afternoons May 9 - June 3. We will have morning and afternoon practices starting June 6. Times TBD.

Fish Team: Fish practices will be held Monday - Friday starting on June 6 and concluding on July 1. We will host a FISH only meet (no outside teams) on June 29th. Please contact Jamie Dawson ([email protected]) with any FISH questions or feel free to ask at the meeting April 3rd.

Swim Meets: Home and away meet locations have been set:

• June 3 - **FRIDAY** FOX at PMP
• June 9 - FOX at Pelham Falls (out of division meet)
• June 16 - FOX at Forrester Woods
• June 23 - home vs Orchard Farms
• June 30 - home vs McCarter
• July 8 & 9 - Divisionals
• July 16 & 17 - Championships & Classics (These are finals for swimmers with qualifying times only)

Bix Fox Pancake Breakfast: Our annual breakfast for Big Foxes will be on Saturday, May 7th. This is a great opportunity to spend time with just our older swimmers setting some goals and expectations. FOX Friends will also be revealed.

Full Calendar: We have a full calendar of events and practices on our website. There is an option to subscribe. We will regularly update this as we have more information.

SAIL Officials Training Schedule: Most meet volunteer positions require an online certification (simply read a few pages and answer some questions). Some official positions (Stroke & Turn, Starter, Referee, and Clerk of Course) also require attending a training session in May. The training schedule as well as a description of all volunteer positions is posted on our volunteer tab. Sponsorships: Foxcroft Swim Team has sponsorship advertisement opportunities available for your business. More information can be found on our sponsor tab or by contacting Kelly Franchina ([email protected]). We would love to have more Neighbors & Family sponsors this year. These can be purchased in $25 increments, and are a great way for grandparents or neighbors to help support our team. We have chosen to invest in a larger coaching staff for the size of our team, and sponsorships help us keep our fees reasonable.
