This Week’s Meet: This week’s meet is at home against McCarter.

When: June 30th, starts 5:30 PM

  • Set-up: 2:00
  • Swimmer Arrival Time: 4:00
  • Warm Up Time: 4:15 (10&Under), 4:30 (11&Up) - Parents of young swimmers need to stay with their kids after the warm-up. Neither coaches nor tent parents will be available to supervise swimmers.
  • First half volunteers: Arrive no later than 5:00 PM. Volunteers will meet at the front entrance. Find Ashley Wooten to check in.
  • Officials Meeting: 5:15
  • Following the meet, we must get the pool deck back in order as quickly as possible. We ask all parents to help. Swimmers should return to the tent to clean up the field and wait for the deck to be cleared before returning.
  • The pool will stay open after the meet for a team Glow Party and Divisionals Theme announcement!

Swimmer’s Area: We will have a section of the field for our guests and a section for Foxcroft. Look for our big white tents for swimmers. Any families who want shade for themselves may want to bring a pop-up. Swimmers will again enter Clerk of Course through the new gate near the diving boards. Spectators will enter through the shelter.

Parking: Please do not park in the pool parking lot. We reserve the entire lot for our guests. We can use the bicycle parking and golf cart parking until they are full, but please walk from home or park in a friend’s driveway. If you do park on the road, please park some distance away, follow no parking signs, and stay on one side of the road.

Concessions: We will have traditional cash-only concessions, Chick-Fil-A nuggets and Sandwiches, and the Chocolate Artworks (dessert) food truck.

Additional Meet Information:

  • The playground is off limits during meets.
  • Please enter the field through the pool or on the tennis court/field side. Do not enter through the front of the clubhouse.
  • Please remind your swimmers to rest, stay in the team area, and clean up after themselves.
  • Swimmers need to check back with tent parents as soon as possible after each event. They must stop at each Clerk of Course check point prior to their swims.
  • We will again allow standing spectators on deck. Chairs on deck will be limited to grandparents and limited mobility guests.
  • Remember to support your Fox Friend!
  • It is against SAIL rules to consume alcohol during a swim meet, but HOA rules take over after the meet has ended and the deck has been put back together
  • Remember to keep shoes on in the grass.
  • The heat sheet is attached. We will also have printed copies at concessions for $1.

Divisionals Meet: After Thursday, our next meet is Divisionals. We have signed your swimmers up for you based on your Intentions, and the coaches will choose their events. Ashley Wooten has assigned some volunteer positions, and we will open up more on Swimtopia soon. Please lookout for that announcement and sign-up if you are available. We do not have the same requirements as a dual meet, but we do need volunteers.

Fun Friday: There will be no practice on Friday. Join us at the shelter at 10:30 AM for donuts, ribbons, and fun. Swimmers should plan to play games in the pool. Bring goggles, a happy attitude, and your A game!

Divisionals Week: Remember, Divisionals week starts July 5. The team google calendar has all practices and events. The social schedule can be found here: Calendar of Divisionals Week activities. Please buy movie tickets no later than Sunday. Pasta Pump Up and Breakfast of Champions item sign-ups are on our website. Entries for the divisionals heat sheet contest are due Tuesday, July 5.

Championships and Classics: Remember, any changes to C&C Intentions between now and the start of Divisionals must be sent to Emelyn Shabel (951-833-2077) or scratch fees will be passed on to the families.
