Forrester Woods won the Metcalf Cup (total points) trophy, with Foxcroft in 2nd place. Remember we came in 2nd last year in blue division. White is a division higher!

Thank you to every swimmer, parent, coach, and volunteer for your patience and endurance Friday night. Finishing at 1 AM was quite a challenge, but we are thankful the meet is complete. An extra big thank you to Ken Shabel, Kristin Rollins, and Tommy Haff for working the entire meet both days!

Attached, you will find the results file of all White Division swims this weekend. Beginning tomorrow morning, the SAIL board will combine the results of all 6 Divisionals Meets. This data will be used to determine 2023 Divisions as well as which swimmers will be invited to Championships and Classics next weekend. We expect to receive the results tomorrow evening, and will email a list of C&C qualifiers as soon as possible.

All swimmers are invited to come to the pool at 8:30 AM Monday for a Breakfast of Champions. C&C swimmers will learn what events they will be swimming. This will be a fun time of celebration for everyone. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to view the results and order t-shirts, but the breakfast will be for swimmers. There will be no morning practice Monday.

Next week’s practices will be for C&C swimmers only. Depending on the number of swimmers who qualify, practices will either be at their normal times or combined at 9 AM and 5 PM. On either Wednesday or Thursday, C&C swimmers’ afternoon/evening practice will take place at Westside Aquatics followed by a dinner. More information to come.

Remember the banquet is on Tuesday July 12 at 7 PM. Dessert will be provided, and a collection will be taken for the coaches’ bonuses.
