This Week’s Meet: This Thursday, we swim against Silverleaf.

Where: 2 West Shefford Street, Greer, SC. 29650

When: June 15th, starts 5:30 PM

Swimmer Arrival Time: 4:30

Warm Up Time: 4:45 (10&Under), 5:00 (11&Up)

First half volunteers: Arrive no later than 5:00 PM. The volunteer table will be across from the concessions table along with ribbons and computers; find Ashley Wooten to check in. (Volunteer assignments can be viewed in the Swimtopia App).

Note: The Silverleaf pool is 3 ½ feet deep at the turn in and in lane 1. This is shallower than usual for us. The coaches will address this and work on it with the kids at practice.

Parking: Our pool will have four spaces blocked off for the SAIL Reps and Coaches. The parking lot is reserved for Foxcroft and officials. If it is full, please drop off swimmers and park on the side of neighborhood roads. No parking areas will be marked.

IMPORTANT--- NO PARKING IN SHOPPING AREA: Please be aware that no parking is allowed in the shopping center beside the neighborhood. We want to be respectful to their patrons, and violators will be towed.

Swimmer Areas: Foxcroft swimmers will be under the covered shelter inside the pool deck area. The space holds about 100 swimmers. Silverleaf will provide a large tent for overflow.

Concessions: Concessions will be under the porch club atrium. There will be grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, snacks, desserts, and drinks. Coaches will get a complimentary meal ticket.

Additional Meet Reminders:

• Swimmers should wear their red Foxcroft T-shirts to the meet. Parents, don’t forget your FOXwear!
• Please remind your swimmers how important it is to stay in the team area so that our volunteers can locate them for their events. Please make sure to keep the area clean and their items in their bags. We need everyone to throw their trash away.
• Parents and swimmers should have the expectation that relay line-ups may have last minute changes.
• Fox Friends: Don’t forget your Fox Friend!
• It is against SAIL rules to consume alcohol during a swim meet.
• All communication regarding weather delays will be through the Remind group text. If your swimmer has a phone, they should be signed up too.

June 22nd Meet: Sign-ups for our first HOME meet will open at 6 PM Wednesday night and close at 6 PM Sunday. Please don’t forget! If you are unavailable to volunteer, please mark yourself as unavailable. This will be a huge help to Ashley as she finalizes our volunteer schedule each week.

Fun Friday: Join us at the shelter at 10:30 AM for donuts and ribbons. We will then play Gladiator in the pool and Lazer Tag on the field! Please bring goggles and shoes for fun in the water and on the field!
