Thank you to every swimmer, parent, coach, and volunteer for your hard work during the Divisionals meets. An extra big thank you to Ken Shabel, Kristin Rollins, and Tommy Haff for working the entire meet both days!

The SAIL board will be combining the results of all 6 Divisionals Meets. This data will be used to determine 2024 Divisions as well as which swimmers will be invited to Championships and Classics next weekend. We expect to receive the results this evening and will email a list of C&C qualifiers as soon as possible.

All qualifying swimmers will have practice Monday morning from 9:00 -10:00 AM. C&C swimmers will learn what events they will be swimming afterwards when the entire team is invited to come to the pool at 10 AM Monday for a Breakfast of Champions. This will be a fun time of celebration for everyone. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to view the results and order t-shirts, but the breakfast will be for swimmers. There will be no practice Monday evening due to the Dessert Banquet starting at 6:00 PM!

Next week’s practices will be for C&C swimmers only. The number of swimmers who qualify will determine our practice schedule for Tuesday-Friday. This will be sent out this evening along with the list of qualified swimmers! On either Wednesday or Thursday, C&C swimmers’ afternoon/evening practice will take place at Westside Aquatics followed by dinner at Southernside Brewing Co (https://southernsidebrewing.com/).

Reminder: The Swim Team Dessert Banquet is tomorrow at 6:00 PM on the field. We will be serving dessert, every swimmer will receive an award, and we will take up a collection for the coaches’ bonuses. To contribute to our four coaches – Ella, Hudson, Sophie, and Wade, please give cash or a check to Liz Shafer or send a Venmo to @FoxcroftSwim and specify it is for the Coaches’ gift.
