This Week’s Meet: This week’s meet is away at Dove Tree.

Where: 2 Sugarberry Drive, Greenville SC 29615

When: Thursday, May 23^rd. Meet starts at 5:30 PM

Swimmer Arrival Time: 4:30

Warm Up Time: 4:45 (10&Under), 5:00 (11&Up)

First-half Volunteers: Arrive no later than 5:00 PM. Find Ashley Brown or Stephanie Hedge to check in at the volunteer table under the blue awning near the main gate.

First-half officials and timers should meet behind the blocks at 5:15 pm. (Volunteer assignments can be viewed in the Swimtopia App).

Volunteer Reminder: Please remember that SAIL policy prohibits all timers and recording timers from using their phones to take pictures or videos from behind the blocks and also from having phones out and in use at all. Please be mindful of this rule.

Parking: The pool parking lot will hopefully be paved next week, weather finally permitting. We are hopeful that we can use the parking lot for swimmer drop off, but we will not be able to actually park in the lot. Which means we will not be able to offer reserved parking for coaches and officials. The plan is for parents to drive through the one-way lot to drop off swimmers then find a place to park along ONE side of neighborhood roads. Some houses will have No Parking signs, so please respect those homeowners. You may also park on Oak Grove Lake Rd and in the adjacent grassy area beside the tennis courts. We will have a few golf carts shuttling people to the pool since some may have to park farther than usual!

Swimmer’s Area: Because the area around the pool is so hilly, Foxcroft's swimmer area will be on the tennis court. Foxcroft will bring team tents for our swimmers, but if you would like shade for yourself, please bring your own tent. Flip flops will also be helpful for protecting feet from the hot surface!

Spectators: Tailgate chairs are allowed on the side of the pool nearest the deep end. Coaches will be set up on the far side (nearest the playground), so no chairs are permitted on that side of the deck. There is also plenty of grassy space outside the fence with good views of the pool.

Concessions: There will be a variety of menu items in the clubhouse, including several dinner options, homemade desserts, candy and drinks. Coaches will receive complimentary meal tickets.

Big Foxes: If you have not introduced yourself to your Little Fox, please try to go to practice early one day this week to meet your friend. The list of Fox friends is below. Make sure to cheer on your Fox friend at the meet!

Severe Weather Plan: In the event of severe weather, we will follow SAIL's severe weather policy. If we clear the deck, everyone will be asked to return to their cars. We will text you when the swimmers can return to the pool area.

SAIL Alcohol Policy: Please be very mindful of SAIL's policy for no alcohol at events.

Fun Friday: There will be no practice on Friday. Join us at the shelter at 10:30 AM for donuts and games.
