Foxcroft Swim Families,

The luminary dates for 2024 have been set. Luminary night in the neighborhood will be December 8 with a rain date of December 15. 

In an effort to simplify the team fundraiser, please note the following changes and volunteer opportunities.

• Flyer Distribution Dates: November 18-22
  Swimmers and parent volunteers will sign up to distribute flyers on their street advertising this year’s fundraiser details. 
• Packing: December 8 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. (Rain Date - Dec 15 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.)
  Swimmers and parent volunteers will be asked to sign up to help bag the sand and pack sets of candles and bags to sell.
• Sales: December 8 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (Rain Date - December 15 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
  Swimmers and parent volunteers will be asked to sign up to help sale sets for $15 each to neighbors that drive or walk up to the clubhouse parking lot on the day of the actual luminary event. We will have the Square register available to take electronic payment.

Note: There are no team coordinated door-to-door sales or set-ups this year. We do encourage swimmers to reach out to their neighbors that enjoy participating but may need assistance purchasing and/or setting up their luminaries. What a wonderful way to show community outreach during the holiday season! Simply keep your own recording of commitments and follow through. 

It is our hope that this approach will be a balance of a successful fundraising event, joyful neighborhood experience, and manageable team coordination. Be on the lookout for follow-up emails detailing sign-ups for flyer distribution, packing and selling opportunities.
