Volunteer info

Remember, each family is expected to provide a volunteer for two halves of each meet in which their swimmer(s) participate.

***NEW*** All volunteer training for the 2025 summer swim season will be completed online. SAIL is working as fast as they can to edit content and upload videos. Right now, only the stroke and turn training is available, but the rest should be up by May 5th at the latest. You can find these trainings at: https://sailswimtraining.com/moodle/

!! THERE IS NO TIMER TEST THIS YEAR !!

Certified Official Training (Stroke and Turn, Starter, Referee, Coaches)

Simply create an account and watch the series of videos for your designated position, completing the questions at the end of each one. This applies to coaches and all certified officials.

These tests will remain open throughout the summer with the goal of encouraging more volunteers to become stroke and turn certified. We are always in need of certified officials.

Clerk of Course training dates will be announced soon.

Please direct any questions to Liz Shafer ([email protected]) or Kristin Rollins ([email protected])

All Other Volunteer Positions The other volunteer positions we have at each meet are timers, concessions (home meets), runner, ribbons and tent parents. These positions do not require training or tests. You can sign up for these jobs, but if they are full, we will need you to take one of the other positions.
