Fox Swim Week in Review
Meet Results: Great effort, team! Many swimmers dropped time for 160 new personal bests — a 55% improvement. See the report attached for PBs. Check individual times in Swimtopia (see details below). Thornblade finished with 342 points and Foxcroft with 314.
Hot Heats: Platinum sponsored hot heats are a fun new addition to home meets. Swimmers are unaware of which heats will be hot heats until the music begins. Winners of the heat are awarded a prize and featured on social media. Check out @foxcroftswim on Instagram for this week’s pics! This meet’s winners were Annie Fickey, Netta Ferguson, Leila Kluttz, Joel Oberby, Everly Rollins, Easton Hall, and JD Mamarella.
Swimmers of the Week: Swimmers of the week are usually awarded at Fun Friday. This week they will be announced at practice Tuesday and sent out in the next team announcement.
Sign up NOW for our May 29th meet: You must RSVP by Sunday at midnight for our May 29th meet against Neely Farms even if you are not attending the meet! Please log in to your Swimtopia account on our website to register. Swimmers will not be allowed to swim in the meet if they are not signed-up by midnight tomorrow.
Please let Ashley Brown at [email protected] know of any volunteer conflicts or questions. If your child is not swimming at the meet, make sure and also mark yourself as unavailable to volunteer.
Two-a-Day Practice Starting Tuesday: Practice starts 2x day, and continues through Divisional weekend. Note: Times are subject to change, please subscribe to our Remind App (Text the message @foxswims to the number 81010).

Thursdays- practice in the morning only on meet days. Practice will include a "mock meet." Swimmers should then leave the pool to rest.
Fridays - Fun Friday @ 10:30 a.m. No afternoon practice.
Swimmers’ Meet Times: You can view your swimmers’ times from the meet on the Swimtopia app under “Events.” Foxcroft has a 25 yard pool, but most teams in SAIL have a 25 meter pool (about 7 feet longer). Depending on the settings in your app, the times may be converted by the computer. In the app, if you click on your swimmer’s name under “Members” and choose “Swim History”, you should be able to view all of your child’s times. Additionally, the Mobile Pro App updates live as times are entered during the meet. It costs a fee for the extra features, and you can cancel at the end of the season.
Iron Man: Swimmers who swim all 6 individual events (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, individual medley, and long free) over the course of the season will receive the Iron Man award at the banquet. For swimmers who would like to receive this award, consider setting goals to include a new event at each meet.
SAIL night at the Drive: There is still time to get your tickets to join the coaches for "SAIL night" at the Greenville Drive game for Tuesday, June 3rd. There will be a pre-game, on field parade for all swimmers. Purchase tickets at this link. Choose Foxcroft AFTER you purchase your tickets.
Have a great holiday weekend. We will see the swimmers on Tuesday!
