Sign Ups This Week
NOW for our June 5th meet: You must RSVP by Sunday at midnight for our June 5h meet against Devenger even if you are not attending the meet! Please log in to your Swimtopia account on our website to register. Please let Ashley Brown at [email protected] know of any volunteer conflicts or questions. If your child is not swimming at the meet, make sure and also mark yourself as unavailable to volunteer.
Intent to Swim Divisional/C&C: Tomorrow a new event will open on the website called “Intent to Swim Divisionals, Championships and Classics 2025.” You will need to declare each swimmer’s availability to swim at these SAIL meets. Review the following information about this requirement.
What are Divisionals and C&C? Why do we have to declare our intentions? Divisionals is a split meet. The 11&ups will swim on Friday, June 27th (evening), and the 10&unders will swim Saturday, June 28th (morning). Based on Divisionals results, the top 40 swimmers for each event across SAIL are invited to swim at Championships and Classics (C&C). Championships are on Saturday, July 12 and Classics are on Sunday, July 13.
Only qualifying swimmers will receive an invitation for C&C; however, swimmers must declare their intention to swim prior to the Divisionals meet. If a swimmer says they are available for C&C, but then chooses not to swim, SAIL charges hefty scratch fees which will be passed on to the family.
All Competitive Team swimmers are encouraged to swim in Divisionals. We have social activities throughout the week leading up to the meet.. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our SAIL rep, Kristin Rollins, at 864-567-3933.
